Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Rudo AI Tutor platform. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the Rudo AI Tutor platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. If you are registering on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian.
2. Description of service
Rudo AI Tutor provides an AI-powered tutoring platform designed to support primary and secondary school students in Zimbabwe and the SADC region. The platform offers personalised learning aligned to the ZIMSEC curriculum, available via web browser.
3. Eligibility
The platform is intended for use by students of primary and secondary school age, under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians must create and manage accounts on behalf of children. By registering, you confirm you are at least 18 years old, or that a parent or guardian has consented to your use of the platform.
4. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the platform only for lawful educational purposes. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the platform; use the service to generate harmful, offensive, or misleading content; attempt to circumvent any security or access controls; or use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the platform.
6. Intellectual property
All content, software, and materials on the Rudo AI Tutor platform — including curriculum content, AI responses, and design — are the intellectual property of Rudo AI Tutor or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. Subscription and payments
Access to certain features may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and cancellation terms will be clearly stated at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The platform is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. While we strive to provide accurate and helpful educational content, we do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated responses will always be accurate. The platform is a supplementary learning tool and does not replace qualified teachers or formal education.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rudo AI Tutor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms of Service. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
