Our story

Built in Zimbabwe, for Zimbabwe

Rudo AI Tutor was born from a simple belief: every child in Zimbabwe deserves access to a great tutor — regardless of where they live or what they can afford.

Our mission

To make world-class, personalised education accessible to every student in Zimbabwe and across the SADC region — powered by AI, grounded in local curriculum.

Zimbabwe has some of the most talented, driven students in Africa. But access to quality tutoring has always been unequal — tied to geography, income, and luck. Rudo AI Tutor changes that. We're building an AI tutor that knows the ZIMSEC syllabus inside out, adapts to each student's pace, and is available every hour of every day.

Our vision

A southern Africa where no student is left behind because they couldn't afford a tutor or didn't live near a good school.

We're starting in Zimbabwe and expanding across the SADC region — Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique, and beyond. Our vision is a connected generation of students who have the tools, confidence, and knowledge to shape the future of their countries.

What we stand for

Our values aren't a poster on the wall — they're the decisions we make every day.

01

Access for all

Great education shouldn't be a privilege. We build for every student, in every province, at every income level.

02

Locally rooted

We understand Zimbabwe's curriculum, culture, and context. Rudo isn't a foreign product adapted for Africa — it's built here, for here.

03

Student-first

Every decision we make starts with one question: does this help the student learn better?

04

Relentlessly improving

AI is only as good as the team behind it. We're constantly learning, iterating, and raising the bar.

Starting in Zimbabwe. Growing across SADC.

We're launching with full ZIMSEC curriculum coverage for primary and secondary students. As we grow, we'll expand to neighbouring countries — adapting to each country's curriculum and language needs.
